US Post Office

i would never rely on this post office to pick up or deliver anything. they are lazy, unprofessional and full of mistakes. when you complain on them its a complete wasts of your time because they have an alliance and will cover for one another. i was almost cursed out by "debbie" after i didnt receive my package. please dont go there to mail something or for services UNLESS you are prepared to wait 30 minutes to an hour or longer. they only have one line and its insane to stand in line for that long. the area has expanded and there are more people living here now so one would expect the services to improve??? shame on you homestead post office!

I have lived in the area since 1990 and we started off with a great delivery lady. She had the same type of dog as we did, and she would randomly leave us treats for ours in our mailbox with a note. That was back when they would actually come up to the house to put it in the mailbox by the door.
Since then, I have yet to have a positive experience with the workers at this USPS Office. They never actually bothered to do their jobs. They are to lazy to close the mailbox after delivering the mail (so dont bother mailing anything this way during rainy season). They have yet to knock on my door when a package doesn't fit in the mailbox (even with 2+ cars sitting outside), and you can forget about them actually putting the slip in your mailbox to even let you know you have a package. Heaven forbid they actually take the 2 seconds to do what they are getting pain outrageous hourly rates to do! When you finally find out that you have a package, get ready for an adventure!
Once you find parking in their inadequate parking lot, get ready to wait! Once you've made your way thru the dingy halls and neglected facility to the waiting line, you'll be surrounded my some of the most miserable looking people ever to come in contact with the public. When you finally explain to every cashier what you are trying to accomplish they will collectively move about as quickly as a tortoise on its way to boiling water. They seem to have no real motivation - for anything!
OVERVIEW:
Dont expect much more then a "Would you like fries with that" type of attitude and even worse service.. Do yourself a favor and go with UPS, or FedEx..it will be worth saving the time you'd waste trying to accomplish anything with them. I hate to even give them a 1 star rating!

Don't call them for any answers they will not help you out, facility needs to be up grated this area has become very populated and there is a lot of new developments with new residents that need service. Why not have more then one line, One to pick up your mail if they can't provide it to your new address, and another for anything else. NOW THAT MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE!!! PLEASE IF ANYONE ELSE HAS THIS PROBLEM MAKE SURE TO LET THEM KNOW IT NEEDS TO CHANGE!!!! THIS IS NONE EXEPTABLE!!!!!
