Really great chinese food in south Florida! The place is really nice and the food is also great. The hot pot is the hit!!! I love it!
Two thumbs up!!!: Peppers is the best chinese restaurant in South Florida with excusite authentic chinese food. Good ambiance and outstanding service. If you are a real chinese food lover you can not miss Peppers. Once you try it, you will never gonna try any others.
Real Authentic Chinese: Type: Chinese (Sichuan). This is one authentic Chinese restaurant, rather than a Chinese restaurant catering to American tastebuds, go visit Pepper's. If the hostness hands you their fan-shaped menus (black cover), which contains Chinese/English side by side, you know you're in for a real (Chinese) treat. For those that rather do take-outs, order some dishes from one of these fan-shaped menus instead of one that says "Take-Out" - which is just another name for "American Chinese Food". It's always a good idea to go with a native Chinese friend if you can, it's like "insurance". If you have no idea what to order, just tell them "Hot Pot". It's a traditional Chinese/Mongolian dish that is similar to Fondue. The waiter may ask you what "base" or "broth", you can choose either "regular" (which is chicken broth) or "half and half" (chicken broth on one side and spicy broth on the other side). The waiter will then bring out about 10-15 plates with different things on it (beef, lamb, veggies, squid, scallops, crabs, etc, and you can request specific things to see if they have them). The restraurat also has a few private rooms for more intimate gatherings and offers Karaoke. It doesn't have a full bar, only serves beer and wine.
