    Definitely 5 Star ALL THE WAY!!! The minute I walked in I was greeted by the host. I liked the fact that he did not assume I wanted a table. I proceeded to the bathroom to wash my hands. Bathrooms (don't worry I will get to the food soon) are so important and really show you how the place cares about its image and what it stands for. The bathroom was absolutely spotless, subtly lit, with Yeardly soap (the good stuff). I love making fun of the funky italian language class CD that runs in the background. So right away, the customer is thinking, wow--this place is clean and well-kept.

    I sat at my customary place in front of the fire at the bar. The rich wood of the bar and the calming fire is definitely a winning combination, alone or with friends. A waitress zoomed to meet me with a menu. I instantly got bread, olive oil, and the wee plate of spices. WONDERFUL fresh warm bread.

    At Carrabba's bar, you get to see the fire and the people cooking. I was SO IMPRESSED with the employees' PROPER USE of gloves. They not only change them out frequently after touching offensive substances, they wash hands as well. HOW AWESOME!! They care about food safety. I saw my pizza being built while munching on a perfectly-sized caesar salad--absolutely the best salad in the universe.

    While I was enjoying my pizza, another waitress noticed my empty coke. She volunteered to go fill it. With that kind of attention, I felt wamly pampered. She also offered to get me a take-home box. With two people waiting on me, I had to tip extra. The food, the ambience, the cleanliness and staff were so excellent, I HIGHLY recommend it. EXCELLENT JOB Pompano Carrabba's.
