User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI was just recently in Marathon for 3 days and we wanted to go to a special place for dinner...Something that was one the locals enjoy, not a tourist trap. What a memorable experience!!! From the time we were greeted at the door until we left, the service and food was beyond exceptional!
The Hogfish stuffed with crabmeat is among the best I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying!
The setting is very typical of the Keys and the ambiance is very romantic as well...
I HIGHLY recommend Castaways for a lovely memorable experience!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe Flavor of the Islands At Its Best: Castaways restuarant has the best atmosphere and galley cooked seafood offered anywhere at any price. You'll love the atmosphere of eating wonderfully prepared shrimp right on the docks where the fishing fleets arrive daily with their fresh catch. This is very laid back dining that anyone who is visiting the Florida Keys or the locals can enjoy. This "locals" spot is one you will remember always for great food, friendly service, pleasing prices and ambience unmatched anywhere.
