Unfortunaly for me I own a condo that's being managed by Benchmark, they are so unorganized, very unprofessional. I ran into some issues and the staff was not helpful and very rude. Letters were sent out about the new HOA dues, and I did not get one. When I call them, they told me that it does not matter if I received the letter or not, I need to start paying the new fees. I had already pay the HOA for that month and the difference was rather minor (less than $100), they told me that they would put a lien on the condo for that amount and foreclose on it. How unprofessional and lack of knowledge. I hope I don't run into any more issues with them since they don't know how to talk to pepole nor resolve any issue in a professional manner.
We applied for the owners association at the Village Townhouses on Oct. 5th. We are all cleared to close other than the acceptance for the Association. My Broker, Title Company and Real Estate Agent have all been calling for 2 weeks and have never recived a phone call in return. I have no idea what goes on there but when I tried to call to get a copy of the rules before putting an offer on the property, I was on hold for 10 minutes before being directed to a voicemail. Mark my word when I am finally excepted and close on this property, I will do all that I can to speak with the other residents so we may get a useful management company. BEWARE OF BENCHMARK !!!
If you are looking for a return call, forget about it! If you are looking for basic customer service, forget about it!
This is the most unhelpful organization that I have ever come across.
We have a closing scheduled to take place in 3 business days. With the current market conditions, you'd think the Management entity would be considerate and follow up with the new buyers, who will soon become a direct customer of theirs, and may also one day become that Board Member that terminates the Management contract. I guess this is why Mr. Sugerman (owner of Benchmark) who with 21 years in the business, is still unsuccessful.

I agree. This is ridiculous! I have the same situation going on now. I am a mortgage banker and my borrower is set to close in 3 days. I have been calling/emailing for 2 weeks now with no return calls. Customer service is a joke. They will not answer any general questions and will only send you to someones voicemail to only leave yet another message with no return phone call. Not sure of their operations and how they are in business either. If anyone has some helpful insight on whom to speak to in order to receive some answers that would be very helpful.
