good food - bad service
recommended by a lady-friend we ate there on Wednesday, 12/20/07 around 7 p m in three. The food was pleasant and the price reasonable. But the waitress was lousy: rough and rude in manors , spilt a glass of wine with a menu over our friends shirt and trousers and was not even much impressed, forgot a side order and so on. I do not go back there!
very enjoyable: my 12 year old really like this place. the food, the atmosphere (we ate outside) was a positive experience.
Hit or Miss: Good pastas and salads. Their Carpaccio is excellent. Lasanga was good. Gnocci was lousy. Stay away from meat entrees, they were very poor. Veal Scallapenni and steak were both terrible.
Helpful and knowlegable wait staff. However, the staff get each others attention with a kissing noise that you will hear constantly throughout your meal if you notice it -pretty annoying.
Overall a resonabled priced option for lincoln road. and you can have a pretty good meal if you order right. consult the waitstaff and stick with the pasta salads and apps.
