I recently stayed here on my Honeymoon. The location of this hotel couldn't be any better. It's one block away from the beach. The staff was also very pleasant (opening the door for us every time we entered or left the hotel, always had smiles on their faces, and didn't even expect a tip when bringing our luggage to our room). However, we were NOT happy with the loud crappy rap music being blasted from their downstairs patio lounge every night along with the ghetto people hanging out in front of the place at night. During the day it was fine, but we basically couldn't sleep at night due to the loud music downstairs and the extremely sensitive ceiling/walls. The ghetto fabulous women staying upstairs constantly walked around with their stiletto heals clanking on the floor, making it impossible to sleep. We had to threaten the hotel manager that we would call the cops if they don't have them stop making so much noise. But, they complied. We also saw several small fruit flies on the dresser and bed where we were sleeping and were bit several times throughout the night, so watch out for the bed-bugs! However, perhaps this is normal for Florida and may not be controlled. Furthermore, they do NOT clean the rooms until after 3pm each day. However, the hotel still charges an additional $10 per night (they call it a resort fee) on top of their regular rate. Even though, the resort fee doesn't seem to cover anything except for free towel rentals for the beach. Although, I know that almost all the hotels in South Beach practice this ridiculous habit. I guess I recommend this place for those who like to party and are heavy sleepers. However, if you're looking for a nice, quiet room with normal daily maid service, then I would stay elsewhere. I can't comment on the nightly rate because we got a really good deal through a combined flight plus hotel package on a travel site.

Stay away from this hotel!!! Reception service is terrible, I aksked to clean my room for 3 days! After speaking with General Manager- extriemely RUDE , ARROGANT afro-american woman ( the experience of this loud person was incredible) they begin to clean my room. The hotel is noosy, all outside area near you windows are for smoking people... terrible value for this money!! I have been in 83 countries and believe me this hotel is TERRIBLE!!!
