| About: | This small family-run diner is known locally for its comfortable atmosphere and fresh Greek specialties. At lunchtime, the restaurant is filled with customers enjoying traditional Greek fare, along with a few American dishes. Specialties of the house include Pastitsio, Shish Kebab, Souvlaki, and Gyros; all of these selections are delicious. However, if traditional Greek food is not for you, choose a chicken or turkey plate or a hamburger. These American options are served to perfection as well. Wooden stools accent the simple, functional decor. |

This restaurant is good but seems to be hit or miss. Their portions are much smaller when eating in, than taking out. A few times they serve meat somewhat burned, but otherwise not too bad. They also overcharged me once for a bottle of wine claiming one price then the bill said another. Not bad, but definitely family owned with a few loose ends sometimes.
All in all I give it an 80% out of 100%.
Nice environment, good food and service. Prices are reasonable as well. Good choice if you want to eat something light in this neighborhood.
The Best Greek Food in Miami Beach: The Greek Place in Surfside is one of the Surfsides best kept secrets.
If you're not from the area, you would blink and miss this place. It's small, intimate, but the food is fantastic. I have not had a bad dish from this place as of yet.
You can eat in, but it's a little cramped. They do deliver within a limited range, but take your food to go if you're in the area and walk over to the beach a block away and have lunch outside.
You won't find a better Greek meal on the beach.
