I love this bakery. The way they make their cakes are my favorite. It has a very unique taste and texture to it. The icing is not hard and crumbling. It is smooth and sweet. Just how I like it. Another one of my favorites are their pates, they're warm, savory, flaky pastry turnovers filled with chicken, ground beef, herring or salt cod. Once you've had one, you'll understand why people line up for them at the break of dawn. Please try all of these treats with a cup of AK100. It is a creamy corn meal drink. It hits the right spot, especially with a loaf of their hot steaming bread. You will be full for hours!!
