Great food! Excellent Cafe
We live in texas and go to miami for vacations every other year. I'm from Mexico and my wife from Colombia, we both loved it and ended up eating almost once a day during our stay.
Weekend nights have music and 2x1 mojitos.
The food is awesome, it has that "home flavor" but with the restaurant variety and quantity.
The staff is really friendly and make you feel like a local that is been going there for years that really makes a difference!!
The coffee they prepare there will convince you once for all (if you still haven't) that starbucks is nothing more than the mcDonalds of coffe. Don't forget the pastries. (the coffe is just a fraction of a starbucks)
They have an excellent Cuban food, try their delicious "Churrasco" and you can also drink their "mojito" which is 2x1. The friendly staff and their food will be unforgettable for you.
Excellent food! Terrific Service! Ask for Pedro, the owner, he'll treat you like a king.
Live music, Friday night (kariokee), 7:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. by Domingo, the salsero of El Tropico, and maestro Roberto Elias singing boleros; and a fantastic singer on Saturday nights (reservation suggested), Jazmin, from 8:00 p.m. until 11:30 p.m.
We love it!

Well, things have changed, and I cannot recommend this restaurant as I did last year. The food quality has deteriorated, and the entertainers are no longer there. Domingo, as well as Roberto Elias, now entertain at different restaurants. Even Jazmin, who is one of the greatest entertainer, has also abandoned El Tropico. If you go there, good luck! Eli
