User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsim leaning more to 3.5 stars - but rather give'em the 4 than the 3. i think its okay - good Italian, but by no means even close to the top Italian places ive dined in, in the past. per price range - i think its a good deal. you get good food and nice atmosphere at their actual value. so, don't expect to get more than what you pay for...

I've been coming to Florida on vacation for the last 10 years, and I eat out daily. I went to Mama Jennie's because of the on line review and the name.
Well it was the worst food experince that I have had this visit. THE FOOD WAS NOT GOOD,Garlc bread was cold Herb Chicken Breast Bland, The only thing that was exceptble was the Salad Whoever wrote the 4 1/2 star review needs to get out more -

I'm a very picky person who was a waiter for a long time and will analyze every single thing ... and Mama Jennie's is by far the best place for you money in all of Miami. The service is very attentive, polite, and timely. The food is too good for their cheap prices. The ambiance is friendly, quaint, and comfy, although they should probably turn the lights up a bit. It amazes me that they only charge $10 for a beverage, appetizer, meal, and dessert TOGETHER! Every time I go there I feel like I'm getting away with some little secret pleasure few people know about but should.
