Yesterday, September 18, 2007, I visited the store on Biscayne Blvd and I am very happy to report that I met a young man that really went out of the call of duty to help me find what I was looking for. His name is CARLOS and I would like to commend him on his expertise on macrobiotic foods and books. He took time to explain the different kinds of approach to macrobiotic foods. He is a very special person and he should be commended and recognized. I have asked the same question to different employees and nobody knew what I was looking for and it was like talking a different language to them. Again, thank you Carlos and God Bless you!
The best market, and the BEST Whole Foods location: I've been to a LOT of Whole Foods locations around the country. They're all good, but this is by far THE BEST in my opinion. First, it's HUGE and not only do they have an enormous selection (more than you find at many other Whole Foods locations), they also have a massage station, smoothie bar, cafe area, bulk foods section, the best soups and seafood selection, and a massive prepared foods section. And of course, their health and wellness area (beauty aids, supplements, loose teas, and herbs, etc) is the biggest I've ever seen. And they have satellite radio pumping through the store and often play Sinatra etc. I love it! Now that I've moved away, I really really miss it! The only downside is the parking situation because it's in a big strip mall with Target and Best Buy. So watch out for mobs of cars. But other than that, it's a great store!
Excellent Service: I called Whole Foods to ask a question about garlic. We buy all our food from Whole Foods. The manager was very nice and offered to help us with our needs. Going to Whole Foods is a treat. The only problem is that the prices are quite high.
