US Post Office

This is the worst postal experience I have ever dealt with in my lifetime using the USPS. I have received my mail opened and placed in an office post office envelope saying that the letter/package was damaged in process when it was clearly opened - not damaged. I have NOT received personal items that were mailed to me by family members because it was clear that someone had punched a hole in the corner and in doing so, reached in and taken the bracelet that was inside. I have recently returned an item ordered through a catalog in the package they provide with the company label and in two weeks, they have not yet recieved it and I have a feeling now that they won't because someone at the post office decided the item might fit them. I am disgusted and appauled that if I want to mail a package I have to duct tape it to death to ensure all of the contents arrival. I am sickened that I have to spend extra money purchacing a priority envelope to mail a simple birthday card because I am afraid that it won't make it out of the post office. I am on hold right now since approx 20 minutes waiting for the postal manager to pick up the line. When I called and asked for the postmaster the person on the other end replied "no postmaster" I said, "excuse me?" and again got "no postmaster" so I asked, "so, are you telling me there is no postmaster there?" and they said, "not at this office"
