User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsTex Mex Cafe is no 4 stars, but it a resonable local "hole in the wall". It is a reasonable choice if your in the area and want mexican. There are is at least one other better choice in the area if you'd prefer a more festive atmosphere (On the Boarder, Kendall Drive). Overall though the Tex Mex Cafe is good, family place.

The 4 star rating is a joke. Probably the owner and all his relatives gave that rating.
The place uses those pre-fab taco shells... Nuff said. Mediocre would be an overstatement here. There is nothing authentically Mexican about this place.
