I used to live across from this popular Aventura destination. I've eaten here many times, because sometimes you just can't think of anyplace else to go. That's the best compliment I can really give this place....it's like an old comfortable shoe...and I stress the word "old". If you're 30, you get to eat off the child's menu. Everytime my wife and I eat at this place we are by far the youngest people in the place.

Dinner: The food is as bland as baby food (especially the soups) but they serve large portions. There is a band that plays (it's one old guy with his keyboard) all your ragtime and yester-year favorites. The whole experience is surreal as you're surrounded by cotton-heads staring at you like a beacon of youth while slurping their food, with "Danny Boy" echoing from the keyboard in the background, and the sudden clank of an oxygen bottle slamming to the ground from the booth behind you......is that an ambulance I hear approaching? If you're under 60 stay away from this place for dinner (unless you can't think of anyplace else)!

Breakfast: ahhhh. Much better. At least the cotton-heads are accompanied by their kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids that don't seem to visit enough. The food is quite good for breakfast. Try the corned beef hash (I ask for mine well done for a crispy outer layer). The fish platter is something of a small spectacle and if you like smoked fish, bagels, and schmear, this is for you.

it's a shame...: I've been to Mo's this morning to put a big order for the High Holidays' dinner. This 'lady' at the Deli ignored I was standing there until she couldn't anymore...
and without turning her had to me, she made a hand sign to look and talk to somebody else behind the counter; this one was as rude as he could be as well... and I right there I decided to leave the place and look for somewhere else for my Holiday food shopping.
