| About: | Occupying a desirable spot on the Boulevard for many years, this attractive, small restaurant offers an ambience reminiscent of Provence. La Bonne Crepe is attractively decorated with paintings, hanging copper pots, and white linen covered tables by stoves where more than 50 varieties of crepes are prepared. These are thin as paper, standing up high on the plate, crunchy and filled with beef, chicken or fish teamed with creamy bechamel or other light sauces. For dessert, there are fruit tarts or whatever is in season, or united with ice cream or chocolate. |

User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThe manager was rude, annoyed and irritated that our party of 4 arrived approximately 1/2 hour before closing (we arrived ar 8:15, they closed at 9:00). He first told us we could sit outside until we pointed out there were on two tops open. Then, with more than 1/2 of the inside restaurant closed (there were only 3 tables seated inside_, he refused to sit us at a table because it was "saved for parties of five." When asked if he would prefer to lose a party of 4 than to seat them at a table they requested, he said "Yes." With this kind of attitude, I don't care how good the restaurant is, I don't spend my money where the service thinks I am there to benefit them.

I went last night with my wife and my mom and the food and service was awful. The crepes were tough like rubber, kind of ironic with the name of the restaurant being "the Good Crepe" and when I pointed that out the the waitress (french canadian), she told us to go eat somewhere else!!

My friend and I enjoyed our dinner here. The food was tasty, and the sangria was quite good. The service was acceptable.
