About:The name here means "Number One," and they certainly are when it comes to serving up excellent Japanese cuisine in an environment that appeals to both kids and adults. You won't find many sushi bars that cater to families, but this is one of them. Aside from a full menu of sushi rolls, Ichiban also offers a variety of other optionsudon, katsu, teriyaki etc. The restaurant is casual, but not overly so. The dining area is spacious and Japanese art adorns the walls. The sushi chefs have created a number of unusual and inventive rolls that are well worth trying. The Super-Duper featuring three kinds of fish and several vegetables, is the favorite. If you aren't feeling quite daring enough, the more standard sushi is also available, along with a whole list of kitchen foodtempura, udon, teriyaki.

    I have been coming here for many years and has always been fantastic!!! I have not had sushi anywhere else since I first started coming here. Food is always fresh and have never had a bad meal. Service is very good as well. I know the owner's daughter and they always take pride in whatever they do and serve. Everyone should eat here!!! LOVE IT!!!

    EXCELLENT FOODS. GOOD AND FRENDLY SERVICE. KIDS LOVE THE WOOD FLOOR, WHICH IS CALLED 'TATAMI'
    FISH ARE FRESH. GOOD FOODS OF PORTION & GOOD PRICES.
    WE GO EVERY WEEK. WE LOVE ICHIBAN... THANK YOU !!!

    It was very good sushi: I'm very picky about sushi especially since so many places aren't good.
    The sushi was fresh-still cool, and the service was good as well. I had a spicy tuna hand roll and sashimi and it was all very good. And it was reasonable for lunch. I will definitely go back there again since my favorite place (Osaka's in sunrise) is sometimes just a little too far.
