G G's of New York Pizza Restaurant

Wonderful place for lunch! First time for dinner on Thursday 15 Oct. was disappointing. So this is written for owner benefit and so this will not happen to anyone else. We brought another couple to celebrate. Burned loaf of bread was served. 2" of salad oil soaked the greens. Waitress untrained and unsteady resulting in self-serve by receiving hot plates she could not hold. Waitress failed to serve from rear or remove from rear of guest. Spaghetti served when Linguini ordered as side dish. Waitress handled wine glass by placing hand totally over guest glass rim resulting in a possible contamination situation. We were seated in side room to right of main dining room and our waitress and another employee ate at table across the room from us as though they were customers. We were unaware we might have been eating dinner in the kitchen. We were never told we were to be eating our dinner with the GG's employees. Waitress failed to bring more bread and remove dishes as w/b proper and expected. So we asked for attention and service. Waitress failed to offer wine cork for second bottle of wine as we were finished eating. My service tip is substantial for good service. This service was terrible and there were too many spaghetti noodles in each dish. Thus my tip was less than my normal and so the Waitress and other idle employees were openly discussing the inadequacy of my tip in the main dining room before other dining guests giving rise to my possible decision to rescind the undeserved tip altogether. We exited without having received the ambiance or meal value reasonably expected for the cost.
We shall return for lunch and see whether management or owner has improved the training and service before bringing guests again.

Magnifico!: Been here a few times for lunch. Food is delicious and quickly served. The garlic rolls are to die for. My only hang up about this place is the teeny parking lot. Finding a spot can be trick during peak times.
