    pretty good. the food is nice, go there occasionally for some extra good fried red pork!!!

    I have travelled the World and eaten at every Chinatown in North America and the Cantonese style food that you get at "The Pond" as we call this place fondly is 'par excellence'. What is really important is that the taste and portions have always been the same and this is the THE BEST CANTONESE STYLE RESTAURANT in Florida and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend coming in a group of 6-8-10 and trying thier fixed group menus and they will give you a substituion or 2 if you tell them I told you to! ;-)

    Been eating here for mega years. Truly a Hong Kong style, authentic, Chinese restaurant. For appetizers try the Seafood Roll or Vegetable Pastry. Soups are served in very large bowls (will serve 4). Try the Superior Seafood Beancurd Soup or the Chicken Corn Velvet. As for main dishes: Peking Pork Chops, Beef with Eggplant, Beef with Ginger, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, Sizzling Garlic Prawns, Shrimp in XO Sauce, Lobster with Ginger & Scallion, Special Silver Pond Style Blue Crab, Clams in Black Bean Sauce, Crispy Hong Kong Chicken (or Duck), Black Pepper Chicken, Slivered Duck with Vegetables, Scallops in Oyster Sauce, Salt and Pepper Baked Squid, Canton Beef, Satay Beef, Steamed Lobster in Garlic. Memorable vegetable dishes include Eggplant with Garlic Casserole, Baby Bok Choy in Garlic, Yellow Chives, and Sweet Green Tips. Also try the Young Chow Fried Rice, Singapore Rice Noodles, and Baked Seafood Rice. Getting interested yet?
