About:Occupying a sleekly sophisticated building with angular architecture, Chuck's has been around a long time. Its cooking has kept this place popular for a couple of decades. Another location is at 2428 East Commercial Boulevard and a third in Boca Raton. Decor is casual with hanging ferns, intimate booths and low lighting. The restaurant's specialty is aged steaks. Other good choices are swordfish, dolphin, salmon, Alaskan king crab and Florida lobster tails. There's an outstanding salad bar with a wide variety of greenery, vegetables, and pastas.

    Excellent food, excellent service, great salad bar and very moderate prices. Blows away Outback for quality, service and prices.

    So, this place was okay, but not special. The wait staff was slow, both to provide service and to warm up to our table. The salad bar was good, but no different than at any buffet in a cheap chain steakhouse. Ordered the 16 oz. bone in NY strip. Cooked perfectly but totally flavorless. The steak was very tender and moist, it just needed a good deal of seasoning for flavor. Oh, and if you want more than sour cream or butter on your baked potato or if you want bread with your meal, you make another trip back to the salad bar. While the experience was not bad, for the price there are better steakhouses.

    Been here twice, wasn't too impessed either time. Food was average, service was SLOW and place was generally overpriced. i take my husband to a "strip" steakhouse for his birthday called Rachel's, now THEY have amazing food. It's very pricy, scenery not for everyone, but can't beat the food. Suprised they're not on this list.
