After living in Texas (San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas) I consider myself somewhat of an expert on good barbecue. I didn't expect to find anything worthy of a "good" rating down here in South Florida, but this place is a "hole in the wall" gem. I go here at least once a week for lunch for the best barbecue I've ever eaten! That's right...it surpasses anything I found in the state of Texas (including the salt lick in Austin). Order the pork platter chopped (or combo pork and beef chopped ...beef is a tad dry). Pour on their homemade sauce (mustardy based). This is so delicious that I wind up hurting myself packing in the enormous helping (nothing short of a small mountain of absolutely delicious meat). Warning: Once you try this you will be hooked!!! There is no doubt a vegetarian would turn to the dark side after entering this sanctuary of meat! My mouth is watering just typing this (no joke).

OLD hole in the wall place---literally. They cook the meat in the wall, and I don't think theyve ever cleaned it. Gives the food that great flavor. Been here forever and it's a well kept little secret. Try it.
