I went in for routine oil change. I left out w a busted break line. I just had my vehicle inspected two weeks prior. I have a local mechanic nearby where i live who gave me a check list (so i already know whats wrong with it). So when i go to pick my vehicle i am surprised to hear them say i need new u joints, when all i asked them to do was an oil change. They did a rig job on me so i paid and thought ok never again go there. While going home i notice my breaks really felt weird, my foot sank to the floor on hwy (Fla TP). later that evening i pop the hood and see my break fluid emptied on the ground. I knew at that point i been had. I went back slowly the following morning and the owner/manager had the nerve to curse me for calling him out. He told me it was already busted then said i had to do it, and said he would fix it for more $. I am thinking this guy has to be crazy . I did not curse him. I did not want to do any more business with him at my expense. He told his worker to "get his shyt out of here". Instead of making it right he made matters worse. I told my co-workers and a manager had said he had same experience with this shop. He went in for oil and they told him he needed breaks and his car was near new. He left to get food came back. He told me he had to ask owner again, I need breaks? and he said the owner/manager said you should be good for a few more months ( that was over six months ago and no he still doesn't need beaks), he said he told them he would pass on the oil change. he had went on his lunch break so he was there to witness what they were doing I dropped it off, so the had hours to play with it. I would have gave him repeat business and referred co-workers had he done a good job instead he ripped me off and severely inconvenienced me. All i wanted was an oil change. I could have killed myself or someone else with what they did. Right is right and Wrong is wrong please BE AWARE!
