    inexpensive beer and food. large enough to accomidate big parties. good place to watch the games.

    I've gone to this Ale house for the past 3 years because they play gator football games, and have given them a pass for cleanliness for this one reason. I have sent back pitchers of beer because the bottom was moldy. That I could deal with (after a few rounds). However, my last visit 2 weeks ago will definitely be the last. I'm not making this up... There were maggots in the draft beer. I almost lost it. When I showed the waitress, she first said it was bubbles. Then she agreed that it was something and apologized...Didn't get the manager.. Didn't do anything. We drank half the pitcher, and she charged us for a whole one. She obviously had half a brain cell, so I didn't make a scene. I paid and left, never to return again. If you want a better sports bar with better food and maggotless beer- try lefty's next door. It's new and the foods great. My only complaint is that they have small TV's and I'm still not sure they show gator games. I expect to see this Ale House on Channel 10 news' Dirty Dining soon. The manager and bartender should be fired. This is disgusting.

    Davie Ale is the best of the Ale Houses by far....: The prime rib nites on tuesday and thursday are great!!!! Food is always great here. Ladies nite attracts too many college kids... But other than that its a great place for food and drink.
