    Went to Tilden for CV axle replacement and got a fair price and good service. I took another car there based on what seemed like a good experience the first time. However, this time was totally different.

    They tried to charge me over $800 for a $200 AC repair (later done by an honest shop). The car had 18,000 mile on it and they said my rear brakes needed pads and rotors ($450). The other shop found nothing wrong with the rear brakes, $0 needed.

    Unfortunately, Tilden seems to be another of the kind of shop that lies to customers to jack up repair bills. Beware.

    confused?: The sign on the wall said free oil change with tire rotation. When I asked for that deal I was told it was not offered. Sign was on the wall behind the cash register, I left without getting my car serviced. I felt I was being taken.
