User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsPlace is very inconsistent. I've been here and had great meals and other times I've had food that was barely mediocre. The review below with the roach in their food might have me think twice before eating here again though.
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI went here with my boyfriend a while ago. We sat outside in the swing booths, which was a nice atmosphere. I order a pasta dish that claimed to be full of flavor. The food was nothing that it claimed to be. The food runner dropped the food off and our waiter never came over to check to see if everything was okay. Finally when I flagged him down to order a different dish, he made me feel bad about sending it back... meanwhile my boyfriend is done eating! Then finally when I got the 2nd order is was just okay. Nothing special.
If you like good service and good food, I dont recommend this place....It is more like a beer and cheap food kinda of place...
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsummm...there's a live roach in my dinner!!!: i was a big fan of flanigans until Oct 2006 when the Boca location served me a blackened dolphin sandwich with a live ROACH in it (unfortunately I noticed it crawling thru my lettuce when I was already half way through my meal)!!! I was mortified, but didn't cause a scene. The manager came & apologized & said he "couldn't understand how this could happen, the exterminator was just here yesterday"?!? GREAT!!!! he took my name, address & phone number, so I figured I'd AT LEAST get an apology phonecall or a gift certificate or SOMETHING. All I got was a severe case of not being able to eat in restaurants! I should have reported them! If you eat here, be sure to check your food VERY carefully!! It's a shame cos their wings & ribs used to be my favorite : (
