Mississippi Sweets is the sets this pig's trotters on fire! Located on Federal Highway in Boca Raton, this tiny hideaway is always bursting at the seams with Rockabilly music and finger lickin' BBQ! The namesake Mississippi Sweets, which are Sweet Potato chips, are salty and sweet, crispy and tender all at the same time. My taste buds danced when I sampled the Dixie Wings, which were juicy, smokey, plump, and not too greasy. Not to mention, if you're meals become youtube moments, these are the most photogenic wings ever! Baby Back Ribs, which are sweet with a charred taste make you cry for the Little pig. If you're craving something lighter, I highly recommend the BBQ Grilled Chicken Breast, which melts in your mouth! If the Mississippi Sweets aren't your thing for a side, the Tractor Treads (Waffle Fries) are far from middle of the road, and Applesauce, which is sweet and tart are other excellent choices. If you eat there, you will get friendly and efficient service in a kitschy atmosphere lined with bumper stickers and other memoribila. The prices are more than reasonable considering the quality. Great food served fast and cooked the way you like. The ribs, catfish (blackened), and wings are my favorites. The Sweets (sweet potato chips) cant be beat. Take some home , keep in fridge and have them cold with some salt the next day, they are a great snack. These guys also give back to the community, they supportr the police and fire depts.

I am from originally from Texas. I know good BBQ and Mississippi IS GOOD BBQ! My wife and I eat there almost as much as we eat at home and she really does not like BBQ. We love the Brunswick Stew, the wings are to die for and the ribs are out of this world. I just wish they were not so far from our house. They really need another location in WEST BOCA RATON. Say on US 441 where Roadhouse used to be??? Keep up the good work. As far as I am concerned TWO THUMBS UP.No other BBQ restaurant deserves to be in their catagory. Nobody can touch them.
