User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI walked in about 10 minutes before they were supposed to close and they acted like I was doing something wrong by coming in at that time. I just wanted to ask if they had any takeout pizzas ready. Very rude! Never been back and never will.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsMy husband called and placed a takeout order for a plain cheese pizza from Zipz's. About 5 years ago, I had a bad experience at Zipz's, but he said he wanted to try it again. The man on the phone was extremely rude to my husband when placing the order. I went to pick it up and the man at the counter hit on me and told me that my husband was a jerk (which he most certainly is not...I heard him place the order and he did not combat the man's rudeness). He then told me that I had to pay cash (which I usually do not carry, but happened to have just enough to pay for the pizza). Bad counter and phone experience aside, the pizza was AWFUL! My husband eats just about anything and he didn't even finish one piece. We ended up throwing it out and eating something else. If you are thinking of Zipz's...take my word for it and go somewhere else! You'll be glad you did!

We were looking for a good casual Italian place for dinner while "wintering" in Jupiter. We drove past this place, thought it looked quaint and casual and reminded us of one of our favorite Italian spots in West Palm Beach that is no longer open. The service was good but that's all that was good! The food was overpriced for the quality- which was poor. It was not authentic Italian, the meat was bland and the sauce was watery. the salad was so-so. The biggest shocker was when the waitress told us they take cash or check only, NO credit cards. That would have been ok IF there had been a sign ANYWHERE at the door or out front but we looked when leaving and saw nothing to alert patrons that they'd better be carrying a check book or enough cash for dinner. Luckily we were! This restaurant was a big disappointment and we will not be going back!
