User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsWe find this restaurant to be one of the most friendly and relaxed in town. The food is very resonable and always good. After introducing many friends and not one complaint we highly recommend this comfortable downtown restaurant. Our one complaint is their are too many smokers in the outside front dining area. We would highly recommend that smoking would be limited to their much spaces rear dining area.

Went to South Shores with a friend to eat & drink. Ordered wings and sauteed mushrooms. Asked how much for a Pitcher of beer. The waitress checked the computer and said $8.25, I ordered it.
Wings were Ok, the mushrooms were straight out of a can! we sent them back...the bill came and it was $33 dollars. The mushrooms were still on the bill and the Pitcher was $15.
The waitress said she could take the wings off but couldnt do anything about the pitcher???
The manager came and teh waitress admitted telling us $8.25 for the pitcher. The manager replied "you drank it didnt you?" also "the customer is not always right". My reply of course was in this case i am...anyway it was thoroughly embarrasing and i have never experienced worse service.
I phoned the following day to share my experience with another manager and was told there was no one available
