My oldest child had attended this school (on Church Street) 2 years ago. At that time, the school was under different administration, but I believe, the same owner. At that time, the school was one of the best places in Jupiter for early education. Unfortunately, things have changed drastically this year (Summer, 2008).
There are a couple great people left (MS. CARMEN IS A GEM!). However, the rest of the good teachers are leaving in droves and at this time it is lacking a director. My daughter went for the summer school and the teacher in her class just let everyone run wild. There was no direction and the teacher seemed very lazy and careless. There were fights among students and they won't tell you about it. In fact, they will do everything to make sure you don't find out. It just happens that my daughter is old enough to recognize a slacker teacher when she comes across one and she told me about a very scary incident between her and another child in the class. I felt betrayed and concerned for the safety of my child in the care of some of those people.
Unfortunately, there are not a lot of options out there (especially for children still in diapers). With the exception of Ms. Carmen, I wouldn't bother with this school at all.
As far as cost, this service doesn't come cheap. The summer school was a complete dissapointment. It was more of a daycare situation (even for the older kids). My daughter and I were left unimpressed.
I'm writing this review because I think parents should be aware when a school has fallen this far. PLC use to have a good reputation (and it was deserved). However, since a child's early education is key to giving them a "taste" of what school can be (fun, exciting, challenging) -- I'm afraid PLC mostly fails this definition.
