User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI went to Boonies based on the recommendations of others. Well that's 1 1/2 hours I will never get back!! The hanging fly bag/traps should have been the first sign, which were hanging not only outside but inside the restaurant. But what the heck I can still give it the benefit of the doubt right? The inside is what you would typically see in a bar/restaurant setting and the jukebox was a little loud. The menu had tons of options and prices were reasonable. But when we got our food the cheese was not only bad but had mold on it!! After we told the waitress she then let us order something else. I got fish and chips, which were excellent. But trying to eat our meal was a bit of annoyance. Not one, not 3 , but 7-8 flies from the time our food got there until we left were pestering us non stop. It was soo bad they actually were on the table and in my drink. I'm guessing they were surrounding us because we were the only people eating in a booth and not drinking at the bar. All in all I will not go back. I can over look many many things for a great meal but bugs and then mold on my food is not one of them.

Good food and good service. I've been there a bunch of times and never had a bad experience. Ditto on the breakfast. hard to go wrong here.
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsJust a little too tacky for me. The breakfast is really good though. Esecially the sausage and biscuits. If you are looking for the country experience. Then give it a try. Its no IHOP.

That was too bad L. had a forgettable experience, but every time we go there's great food-lots of it, and the service and people are great as well.Country time? Heck yeah,some flies? Where do you think you are? The name is BOONIES get it, not CityPlace-nice too but a bit too Hoity-Toity and much more expensive for that experience.
