First off, I left on my own, I was not fired.. But this IHOP used to be really nice, When things would brake they would be repaired, but do to a change in management, it has really gone down hill. Things would always brake and it would be weeks or even months before they would be repaired. This includes NO HOT WATER, so your eating off unclean plates, glasses & silverware!! Servers would have to wipe the grease off your plates before they could take them to you. Handwash your glasses after they came out of the dishwasher... It was nasty!!!! So I left. I just spoke with a friend of mine that still works there, she said things are getting worse. Again they have no hot water for over a week & the hand washing sink that the servers are to use has been broke for over a month. She said most of the problems are based around the G.M. and her additude, I can't really speak much on that, I really didn't get to know her. But I have spoken with other servers there and they seem to agree.. By the way: We (my husband & I) choose not to eat there!! Some things we had to do to the food to make the food look somewhat good is not good. But when the restaurant would get busy the cooks and some managers would not care what the plate looked like just get it out there, see they got paid no matter what the plate looked like, the servers are the ones that suffered.. But all I can say is judge for yourself!! P.S. I asked to speak to the G.M. and was told she said "she was busy at, to come back later or speak to her ASST. MGR." THE CUSTOMER IS NOT THAT IMPORENT!!!
Ask your server "So hows the management here treat you as a sever"
If your server is going to be honest.. IT WILL NOT BE GOOD!!!!!
Think about who ate off that plate before you???? No hot water.... your most likly getting sloppy 2nds
