Service on 11/19/06: While trying to make a purchase after many years as a customer , I was not provided service that was satisfactory. The woman who waited on me did not know what cognac was and also waited until I completed the only check that I had on me to inform me that I could not write a check for over $50.00 At the time I did not perfer to use a credit card which was my option. Also, please note that she said that I had not cashed a check in that store before and I confirmed with my wife that in fact we have done so in the past. I will no longer do business with ABC liquor stores after many years of being a customer as well as spending a substantial amount of money on liquors and wines and we have also attended several wine tastings and always brought friends in the neighborhood who became your potential customers.
