| About: | Like its sister bar, the University Area Hangout, the Lutz Area Hangout features entertainment and events every night of the week. In addition to Karaoke, Trivia Nights and Beer Pong tournaments, the LA Hangout frequently hosts live bands such as local favorite Phoenix, offers Thursday Bike Night specials and features a Friday evening Pig Roast. The Hangout is open all afternoon, so arrive early to grab a bite and a pint, or take advantage of the pool tables, dart boards and video games. Happy Hour is every day until 7 pm and smoking is allowed. For locals who don't care to venture all the way to Ybor, the LA Hangout is a hands-down favorite. |

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe best bands in the Tampa Bay area. Jaded was there the night we went they we're AMAZING! There was a big group of us that came over from Pinellas county and we we're glad we did. Great sound system.
We will be back when they play there again as well as see the other great bands that play there. We've heard only good things about the place. The only thing I would say it could be bigger and have more table. But it's great if you want to see live music.-

Livewire was one of the best BANDS YET UP THERE.NICE CROUD AND ALOT OF FUN.I LIVE IN ST.PETERSBURG BUT IT WAS WORTH THE DRIVE.I'LL BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR THERE DATES WITH THE HANG OUT THANKS AND LET THE ROCK ROLL ON LAUREN
