We ate here for dinner when friends were in town. It was late in the evening and we were the only ones in there. I'm guessing by this time (it was about 8pm) that there aren't many more people dining because there wasn't much food left, everything left out wasn't fresh anymore. They did bring more food out though for the trays that were empty. I didn't like the idea of scooping my own ice cream out of the container, I think that's sort of unsanitary. Most Chinese Buffets have those soft serve machines...but the plus side was that there were 6 of us who ate, 3 adults and 3 children and we only paid $46.00 with tip. You get what you pay for, I guess.
We eat here at the Shanghai regularly. Great deal for lunch where you can eat for about the same price as a "value meal" at a burger joint. Has the usually pre-cooked buffet fare and a Mongolian grill. Not a huge selection but everything is good. I enjoy the Mongolian grill where you pick what you want and they cook it for you. It's included in the price of the Buffet.
