Just wish they had a drive thru.

I understand what you are saying but maybe it if the situation was handled a little differently the outcome would have been favorable. People usually type the way they talk so I am imagining this is the case.
When you order a dieters plate, one would usually expect smaller portions. Plus if the waitress told you the first time it is smaller portion on a dieters plate, you may have to pay a little more to get a big piece the next time. Itâs like the old saying, âyou get what you pay for.â If unsure, I would ask the waitress what she recommends. Who knows she may have been nice and gave you the dieters plate with a big piece of chicken like the first waitress.
OR I would have ordered and once delivered to my table if it was not to my liking, let her know. If she ignores you, there is always a manager (atleast they are when I've been in there, more mature adult males) that would be willing to help resolve the issue very easily. In the end you made your point, got what you wanted and they can address handling with their staff in the future.

The take out ribs aren't as good as eating in restaurant, for some reason, is my only complaint. but still very good overall. We always get the rib dinner for two. They are consistently tender at the Zephyrhills sonny's

I agree on the take out ribs. They always seem to give you the yucky ones TO GO. I guess that is so you can't complain or have the waitress take them back and get you better ones. But my biggest complaint is the chicken. I ordered a leg and a thigh and I got such a small piece I thought it was from a Gamish Hen. I asked the waitress about it and she said that that was the serving pieces that they give with the diet plates.. she took it back and brought me a NICE piece. I went back months later and ordered the same thing,. this time I told the waitress.,., DO NOT give me a tiny piece of chicken. She said ok.. no problem... When I came back from the salad bar, there was a piece of chicken layin on a plate and it was so small I could not believe it! I looked for my waitress and she purposely ignored me. Then after she waited on a table next to me, I called her and she came over with a wondering look and said. Yes,, is there a problem?! She knew that I would have been upset with this chicken. I told her that this piece it not acceptable and she said.. ohhhhh welll that is the size they all are and if you wanted more chicken you should have ordered a half of chicken. Well needless to say.. I LEFT. I will never go there again! The ribs and the chicken are so underpare.. that I will never return.. What ever happened to customer service?

They just opened their new building and it has a Drive Thru!! Or if you like you can still call in a take-out order and pick it up like before. Except now they have a full liquor bar and a good beer selection so you can have a drink while you wait. :)
