This is the best hotel B.c of AUREA!! @ the front desk!
Theis hotel seems to go up and down,, IT GOOD NOW!: My very fist time at Ashley Plaza They use to have a lovely starbucks coffee shop that I do miss now, The main lobby used to be filled with flowers out side the elevators and all over they even had a lovely smell of potpourri and tropical flowers, On my first stay i was even greated with a bellman as I pulled up into front of the hotel. He quickly from behind a podium and grabbed my bags and carried them onto a luggage cart and took me to the front desk to check in. It was funny because I heard stories of this hotel so as I began walking to the elevator scared.I saw a man with a tooth brush cleaning the tracks to the elevator so I had to laugh. He looked up at me and smiled and said welcome to Ashley. He later Identified himself as the Hotels General Manager. He got up and asked us what floor we needed and acually took us the rest of the way. I thought to myself wow this guy sure likes his job. Our stay was good. It wasn't the four Seasons by any stretch of the word. However the staff lead by I believe he said his first name was Anthony was nothing less than top quality. We later returned for a second stay and when I addressed concerns to the hotels new magager which was a lady with big hair and reminded me of the cript keeper and frightful too. However a recent third trip proved to be as good as the first time. . The hotel does appear to be in a renovation so I guess we'll keep coming back and so should all you readers.
