User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsNot many good Italian places here in Tampa, but this is probably the best. The food is fresh and all of it is very good. The meats and specials can be a bit pricey, but the regular "classic" italian dishes are all around $12-15. Penne Vodka is fantastic as is the Lasagna. It's the opposite of going to a chain like Carrabba's or Macaroni Grill and I wish we had more options like this gem. Try the Gnocchi (homemade & light)and don't eat too much bread, it's good.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMust be like Grandma's !!!: If I had an Italian grandma, I imagine this is what her cooking would be like. The bruschetta tasted like nothing I'd ever had before--the mozzarella & tomatoes w/balsamic were to die for too! The meatballs were my favorite--yum!!

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWOW!: What an experience-- from start to finish, everything was PERFECT. The tomato and mozzarella cheese were heavenly, the seafood, fresh catch of the day of shrimp and salmon was awesome and the mousse put you over the edge. Would definitely recommend this to any one in Ybor City --- The portion were more than enough. The waiters were great and worked with the crowd to keep our orders straight. The Chef was MARVELOUS. If you have not tried âThe Laughing Catâ --- you are missing out, but be sure to go hungry because the portions are enough to share!
