BEWARE!!!!!!!!!BEWARE!!!!!!!!BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!: ZERO STARS!!
I went to Bob Wilson Dodge because my 10 year old truck was vibrating at Highway speeds and was planning a 10 hour drive the next day. They service manager told me that if I were to bring it in they would look at it for $39.95, a 16 point inspection. Well when I got there he said that, he told me wheel balancing would cost $39.95 but the 16 point inspection would cost $49.95.
They brought me back into the service bay and told me that the truck needed $1600 worth of repairs. I told them again, that I was planning a trip and they recommended that I not drive it that far. When I got the receipt (NO 16 POINT INSPECT WAS DONE) Printed in small print was "Vehicle is unsafe to drive!!!". They never told me that it was unsafe to drive. They just recommended that I didnât drive it on the long trip the next day. If it was truly unsafe to drive, donât you think that they should have told me?
The truck was âinspectedâ and I was told that it needed $1600 of repairs. This was at about 9AM. They told me that they could have it done by 5PM. The estimate of repairs indicated, 10 hours of labor, the service manager told me it would be done by 5, so in all actuality 7 or 8 hours in true labor, NOT 10 hours.
Since then I have requested the â16 point inspectionâ report 3 times and all I get is a receipt. They charged me $49.95 for a 16 point inspection, there should be a report indicating the 16 points of inspection. The last time I requested the report, they sent me a paper with the cost of the parts from NAPA and a hand written note indicating 10 hours of labor.
The NAPA parts estimate said Upper ball joints $76.35 each (x 2), actual cost from NAPA $27.39 each. Lower ball joint on estimate $88.11 each (x 2), actual cost from NAPA $34.89. If I were to have bought the parts from NAPA myself I would have saved $229 just by taking them to the dealer. I have left out some other parts, but the total savings is correct. There are even parts missing from the estimate that they told me needed to be replaced.
In the end my neighbor recommended a garage that they knew to be honest, the repairs cost me $479 + tax, parts and labor and complete in 5 hours. Can you believe it? There was an $1100 difference in cost of the repairs. The parts are equivalent in quality. There is no way around this difference in cost, other than dishonesty, plain old fashioned dishonesty.

Donât get RIPPED OFF!!!!!!!
customer disatisfaction: I have being owning 4 Dodge cars for the past 15 years. I visited Bob Wilson every time I wanted a Dodge too. Somehow, I never bought a car at Bob Wilson. I almost bought the Chrysler 300 this morning. The salesman and the manager were not freindly at all. They treated me like a 12 years-old. I gave him the price I wanted before I walked out. The salesman stopped me and got me back to the office with his manager. They made me think they were going to accept my offer. The manager said he was going to call Bob Wilson to ask for approval but he ended up trying to convince me again. I was very disgusted and walked out again. I hope Mr. Bob Wilson will read this review to know his salespeople are not good employees.
