OMG!!! I absolutely love Ruth's Chris. I've eaten in steakhouses all over the world and you cannot compare the consistency of a Ruth's Chris steak. Their side dishes are incredible. I love the sweet potato casserole & the sauteed mushrooms. The Tampa & Atlanta Centennial Plaza are my favorites since I travel to both cities quite often. I'm not sure how you have ever had a bad experience at either one of these locations. My husband & I dine at RCSH at least twice a month. Sometimes we just sit at the bar and catch up on the day's news with our favorite bartender Joni. I do enjoy a rare Pittsburghed filet or a mid-rare ribeye. If you don't dine out often, the food may be too rich. We sometimes just go for a salad and a great bottle of wine. Bern's is a good restaurant for desserts, wine & a great cheeseburger at the bar, but since Jeannie Pierola left, the food hasn't been the same. Used to love Sidebern's too, but not so much lately. Another great restaurant in South Tampa is Pane' Rustica. They make a yummy ribeye & some really fab fish dishes. Just had the cobia recently & it rocked! When in ATL/Centennial Park RCSH ask for Dexter. He's an amazing server. He doesn't forget a customer or the way they like their steaks cooked or their favorite wine. They also serve lunch & dinner & they're open for all holidays...Tgiving & Christmas. I hate turkey so I can get a filet & my family can have all of the holiday fare specials of the day.
Terribly overpriced. The steaks are good, but not great. Everything is priced separately, so a meal cost triple the price of the steak. It is not in the same league with the finest Steak House in Tampa, Bern's.
2 out of 3 isn't bad. I have been to this steak house a few times. While the service the first few times was good the food has become less desirable. While I have never had a probable with the steaks several within my dinning party have had bad experiences and have had the manager called to the table to correct the issue. While each time the problem has been resolved there should have not been the issues in the first place. Undercooked food is not the hallmark of a quality restaurant. The staff was gracious enough to correct the issues of that, however it did in fact take an average of three returns to cook the food as requested. Cold creamed spinach I can handle but raw steak when medium is asked for... that is a downer.

You get what you pay for. Usually at Ruth's the table shares sides & you get to take home some leftovers. At Bern's you get a snooty waiter & a plate full of mushy overcooked veggies & their poor excuse for a baked tomato. But, you know, isn't it great we have enough wonderful steakhouses to fit everyone's taste.
