It is not what it used to be! clubs are fun but you can tell the drinks are bottom shelf no matter what you order. Some people are only looking for trouble, not to have a good time.

If you ever go down to Ybor, check out PRANA. It was a great club. I think it had 5 or 6 floors, each playing a different kind of music. My friends and I had a great time dancing at that club last year, and I would recommend it to anyone who loves to dance. The last trolley ran at about 2am, so if you plan on staying longer, get a cab or rent a car.

7th Ave - Ybor City: If you ever visit Tampa and you're into the night club party scene, you have to visit 7th Avenue in historic Ybor (e-bor) City! This is OUR version of New Orleans' famous French Quarters... only that Ybor is more of a Latin Quarters. We have all the clubs along the strip on 7th Avenue and the weekends are packed with thousands of club goers. There's clubs for all types of music. Lines can be long, but most clubs only charge 5 or 10 bucks to get in the door. Drinks are a lil pricy buts that's any club u go to.

They also have a lot of parades and festivals in Ybor City... Gasparilla Knight Parade, Puerto Rican Parade, St Patty's Day Parade and then there's Guavaween which is also our version of Mardi Gras. It's held the last Saturday in October, people usually dress up in costume and get drunk out there, it's one big party! ALOT of stuff happens in Ybor! It's a wild atomosphere ;-)
