This is the most authentic spanish tapas restaurant I have found outside of Barcelona. The manager is from Spain and has brought depth and authenticity the the already substantial menu. The wines are tastefully selected and not out of reach financially. This is a great place that provides a pleasant and consistent experience.
I went there with a party of 10 for the dinner and flamenco show. Very disappointed with the food. I heard a few people boasting how good it was. They sure don't know what spanish food should taste like. I won't recommend this place. Overpriced for mediocre food. Not worth it. If you're ever in Plainfield, NJ, check out The Spain Inn. Excellent food, service and price. Unique and excellent tasting food. Inexpensive.
What a great disappointment. Over the years they have become a food factory, dolling out sub rate meals. The worst is the original in Tampa. The other two locations that I've tried at the St. Pete Pier and Sarasota were OK, but not great. They are living on their reputation of years ago...how long can that last?
