User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWas in town for other reasons but stop by for what I thought would be fun. Bad idea, slots were not only tight but felt the pull of my wallet. Had to pay for drinks while gambling,when I asked the lady why she said they can get away with it since there are no other casino's. A very rude employee and comment. I have never paid for drinks at any casino. Walked into the high limit tables, ordered a drink there and the prices were double. comment made there was people have more money in here so drinks cost more. Beware high rollers. Buffet $27 plus. There were a few nice pit boss personel,hopefully they will rubb of on ownership or managment. looking at previous comments I would never had stopped if I saw them before and it's obvious that the casino owners do not review peoples comments or they would start to change the image of the casino. Tampa I'm sorry but look west if you want to gamble. Your Hard Rock is only looking to make money and is by no means a true casino. I will never return and make every effort to detour others. Tampa locals save your money and travel for true entertainment.

My husband and I try to go at least once a month. Always fun, excellent service. Food is great (except for buffet). Win some and lose some, but that is gaming. Slots are a tad tight. Hotel accomodations are wonderful. All and all a great casino/hotel....not quite Vegas, but not a 5 hour flight either!

This place is terrible. There is smoke everywhere and it's so loud. I went home smelling like a chain smoker and with my ears ringing.
The buffet is a joke... $27+tax for horrible food;I didn't find anything that I liked. If you want something special, like a steak it's an additional $5... it's $2 for a scoop of ice cream too!
In addition, the managers are very rude. I was at my table and wanted to know where the bathroom was. I saw a manager, raised my hand, made eye contact with him, and said, "Excuse me, sir?" and he just kept walking. He walked two tables away from me and just sat down with his back to me.
I'll never go to this place again. This all is coming from a woman in her twenties that likes to have a good time.
