User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsworse than the worst. Even worse than Bombay Masala. I went for lunch buffet today. I didn't like a single item. The pulao was not fully cooked, naas was very hard, meet was too salty ,, veg items were taste less.

Worst Indian restaurant i'v ever been to. They took an HOUR to prepare the food. prices are unreasonably high! will never recommend nor go there ever again. Staff was unpleasant. (actually they were heavily understaffed, only 1 person to serve and do everything else). All in all it was a bad experience. stay away from this place. I would consider going to the one down Fowler road which has better food and a better service for a fraction of the price here.

I disagree with every bad review about Shalimar. I have been to this restaurant many times. Their food has the authentic indian flavor. I usually come for the buffet lunch, and their tandoori and butter chicken is the best I have ever tasted. I lived in New York and I have been to many indian restaurants there,but Shalimar's butter chicken is the best out of all of them.
