About:Since its opening in 1992, Side Splitters has become Tampa's premier comedy showplace. Spotlighting the finest in stand-up comedy from across the country, shows are held six nights a week with special non-smoking shows twice weekly. The classic menu includes cheese plates, nachos, individual pizzas, and a sampling of wines, beer, specialty drinks and spirits.

    Thanks you everyone at the club! I literaly spent an entire night trying to find a venue somewhere here in Florida for Bobby Collins. You sent me my "ONLY" answer of such a request. I made a list according to his venue requests and have never gotten an answer from him... I appreciate the discounts you sent but we don't get down to Tampa very often. Unfortunately we are STUCK in central florida which only claims are cattle. Thanks again! I'll be sure to make it a night there if I ever get out of cow country! Susan Jones

    I love Side Splitters. Great local comedy club that attracts top notch comedians.

    The good:
    The wait staff and bartenders are fast and friendly.
    The live band Karaoke is fun.
    The early show is non-smoking. The Late show is smoking.

    The bad:
    High drink prices.
    They cram you into the showroom. You are literally rubbing elbows with the next table.
    The food sucks. If the staff refuses to eat there, you shouldn't either.

    Comedy Buff: I dont have many dislikes about Side Splitters other than the prices.....A little high.I do however LOVE the comedy and the fact that there is an early non-smoking show and a later show that you can smoke at. We always have a great time there and we leave belly laughing........
