Dunkin Donuts

Saturday morning: This is the third time that I've been to this store. I thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt from my previous visits. As I pulled in the parking lot, I knew that I should back out and leave, but I didn't. There was a traffic jam in the parking lot. When I finally parked, I went up to the door and there was people lined up out the door. Good for business I suppose. But when you get inside, you realize they have a counter wide enough for two people to be waited on at once and the counter is a very short distance to the door. They were squeezing 3 people wide at the counter and then when I was next, another employee came out and said "can I help the next person". They were waiting on me over the machines next to the counter!! Handing me my donuts and coffee, exchanging money, all stretching over the machines that were taller than the young girl waiting on me.
Each time I have been to this store, the same kind of situation has been there. They need to move somewhere with larger parking. The store is not set up for that kind of business volume. It is very aggravating doing business with them. The employees are all very nice, but that isn't everything. I came home and told my wife "never again". Maybe it is just me and my personality, but there is something wrong when you go out for donuts and you wind up getting frustrated first thing in the morning. You could tell by the looks and remarks of other people in line that they too were thinking along the same lines as me.
I'm a small business owner also and I guess I wish I had people lined up out the door at my place, but I think I would accomodate them better.
