There's no better place or person to go to.....Tom has the patience of a saint, answering all my many questions and willingly giving me advice and suggestions, all while not making me feel stupid for asking. He has a way about him that quickly puts you at ease. I took my first charter with him this past week (all others on board were repeat customers) and had a ball-not only does he know his stuff, but he makes it fun. Tom truly puts his customers first...he wants us to catch fish and is willing to go the extra mile to make that happen. There aren't many like him around-do yourself a favor and check him out next time you're in the area-you'll be glad you did!!

I live in Illinois and go to Florida about every year . I have known Tom since he first opened his bait and tackle shop .I usually bring my own boat down when I go to Florida and he always tells me whats biting , where they are biting , how to fish for them , and sets me up with the right tackle and bait. He always goes the extra mile to make sure you catch fish and to keep you happy . For example over the years that I have been down there I've seen him lend kids a pole , give them bait, and tell them where to go fishing at without charging them a dime . One time a woman and her kid came in . They had a fishing charter set up on one of the party fishing charters and the charter was canceled because there weren't enough people . She told Tom that her kid really wanted to go fishing and they had to leave the next day and wanted to know where they could go and get a charter she could afford . Well Tom has a soft heart for kids so he took them out on his own persoal boat for a couple hours . This was before he did fishing charters himself and I don't think he even charged her a anything since she didn't have much money. One time me and my nephew went ot with him on a charter and the nephew got sick so he brought him back in and we went back out . We did real good that day and when our time was suppose to be up he said he was having fun and if I didn't have to go back in we could fish for a couple more hours ,which we did . We caught a lot of fish , he showed me some of his tricks , places to fish and we had a ball to top it off. He knew I had brought my own boat down and said he had a shark fishing charter with some other people the next day . He invited me to follow him in my boat . Well me and the nephew did and had a ball catching sharks . The nephew and niece went down again this year and went out on a charter with him and caught a lot of snapper , a baracuda and a big shark . They said it was a trip if a lifetime .I can't say enough good about this guy and highly recomend him . If you want bait , tackle, or want to know where and how to fish stop by his place . If you want a charter at a reasonable price , you couldn't find better and more friendly and helpful guide .

This shop did a great job of telling me about the local fishing, where, how, when and I was very successful. Great shop!
