User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI think it's funny that the only bad review for this awesome pub is the "professional". All he mentioned was the price for his beer.
I guess when you think you're better than everyone else you forget to notice the good food, the atmosphere, and the friendly people. Not just the wait staff, but the patrons. The regulars show welcoming warmth to thos who just come in for the first time.
This so-called critic need to be seriously evaluated by whomever he works for, or simply fired, because one problem, and the place is a bust? That's not criticism. That's being plain rude.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsBest fish and chips in Tampa Bay. For $14 you get about 3/4 pound of beer batter fried cod with chips perfectly cooked to order. The only problem with eating at a British pub is you have to deal with the drunken Brits who frequent the place. Much louder and obnoxious than your typical Yank drunk.

You can't find anything else like the Rose & Crown in the area. All the other "British" pubs in Pinellas are a joke compared the the R&C. I can't say enough good things about this place. We've tried just about every item on the menu, and love everything. Great beer, staff, atmosphere, everything.
