Great store exceptional staff: We hold games at Emerald City Clearwater. For gamers this is an excellent place to go to find games and play. The staff is very interested in the comfort of the patrons they ensure everything is ready, and offer help on games. The mangement is comitted to expanding our hobby in Tampa Bay, and have put their money where thier mouth is. They have an excellent gummy and pocky selection as well. Gotta have Pocky.
Best Comic Store In The Area: The toy selection here is incredible. Old action figures or high end figurines, they've got em'. Extremely organized. Their full back issue collection is searchable through their website! I have 8 comics on subscription through them monthly. Staff is courtious and knowledgable. Also, great gaming section and supplies for creating your own comic art and figurines. They have two locations, so if you do not find what you want in their back issues, they make a call, and can typically have items from the other store transported to this location by the next day.
Very Clean, New Store: Emerald City Comics is possibly the most organized comic book shop I've ever been to. Extremely clean and new looking in every way. Not a very big shop, but good variety. New comics do not come bagged or boarded, and thier back issue selection is smaller than average, probably due to limited space. But they make up for it with variety, which includes tons of graphic novels, a whole wall of action figures, game cards, figurines, and lots of nerdy odds and ends that are all welcome in a comic shop.
