We had dinner on Friday night. We expect the service to be slow as it's a weekend but our server was horrible and the service was practically comatose. To be fair the egg rolls were OK but after that everything went down hill. The food was cold and tasteless. I've had better Chineese at the Panda Express! This was a very good resteraunt a few years ago but it has gone down hill the last few times I've been in. I would recommend almost any other resteraunt over the Palace of the Orient at this time and I won't be going back again.

When I lived here over 15 years ago, this place was it! There was no better place to go for Chinese except for Zom-Hee. When we moved back again, we stopped going here.

Now... It has slipped terrbily in both atmosphere, service and food quality.

They leave things laying around all over the dining room. It is obvious that no one really cares anymore. The decorations just look haphazard and misplaced like something out of a Chinese thrift store.

The last trip we made here, we ordered one of the most expensive items on the menu to splurge and the chicken and most of the seafood, came out raw.

The flavor is just okay, the ambiance is just okay and the staff is just okay.

nothing great here.
