US Post Office

Can not trust the clerks at this post office to transact correct postage. I had 8 packages to mail on Nov. 14 at 2:52 pm. There was ONLY 1 clerk/register open, eventhough there were 4 people waiting in line.

To make my tansaction go faster, I requested for the clerk to give each package the least expensive postage. He said okay.
So, I (we) waited for the clerk to complete the transaction, I was SHOCKED when the clerk advised me that my total was $55.23 to ship the 8 small packages, a couple, with a couple of them being regular envelope sizes and weight.

In looking over the receipt, I see that the Clerk DID NOT give each package the least expensive rate, and even billed 4 of the packages PRIORITY shipping.

When I questioned the clerk about these transactions, his response was that he could not adjust the transaction.

I was NOT happy with the clerk. I am sending a letter to the Post Office manager, and in turn, this makes me unsatisfied with using this Post Office.

Could it be that each of their clerk does this same practice to unaware customers?

BEWARE WHEN DEPENDING ON THE POSTAL CLERKS TO GIVE YOU WHAT YOU HAVE REQUESTED OF THEM!

Now I know why customers go to other shipping companies!

sad, not run logicaly, no customer relations: Why don't postoffices have a customer relations phone number ? I have 3 postoffices in my area. How do I find out where my mail is coming from? We need logical thinkers in all businesses.
